I manage the Puptrait Studio, we are a Baltimore based photo company that specializes in high end dog portraiture. As you might imagine, we do a ton of large format prints for our clients and Bumblejax is our go to vendor for acrylic and dibond mounted prints. If anyone is on the fence on who to choose, let me say this. Our studio is literally a 5 minute drive from Nations Photo Lab. I can pickup prints from them on my lunch break and still have time to eat - they're that close. But I still pick BumbleJax despite costing more and taking the extra days for shipping. Why? Because they're consistent and responsive. We rely on word and mouth, and a print order can very quickly make or break that client experience. I found Bumblejax after doing an Internet search for True Life Acrylic Face Mount Prints. I had recently seen examples of True Live prints at a famous photographer's fine art gallery. I really liked the look of True Life compared to my Acrylic Face Mount Prints. I was about to covert to aluminum until I found Bumblejax.Bumblejax offers a proof option for Acrylic Face Mount Prints, but I did not see a True Life option. I contacted customer support, they were very responsive and told me how to order a True Life proof on metallic paper.Wow - when the proof arrived it looked fantastic! It really "popped" with the luminosity and vibrance of an aluminum print in a much more elegant Acrylic Face Mount format I have designed the layout for the "photo wall" in my den and will be placing an order for the initial photos selected very soon.
