Delivery charge is an acceptable fee for heavy bottles and the well padded packaging they are delivered in is reassuring enough to encourage me things are well checked and looked after. Loved the selection, overall found the prices a little high but it was worth it for the wide range of options and wine locations available. I got a Canadian dessert wine I had been searching for, for a while, impressed it was stocked in the UK, I was beginning to think I would have to import it myself before I found drinksdirect! The only thing I would recommend is that wines be searchable/grouped by taste- from dry to sweet separate from location for ease of finding a particular flavour and not a particular region of wine.

I ordered some Fireball cinnamon whiskey after drinking it in New York and being unable to find it in any shop in the UK - it was cheaper than I imagined, arrived within 48 hours and tastes amazing! Bringing back all those New York memories in the gulp of a shot! Fantastic site, incredible service.

We needed some favours for our upcoming wedding, with an Alpine Ski theme we thought miniature Jagermeister's would be perfect. 3 or 4 clicks later we had ordered two crates and they were delivered within 3 days. Couldn't have been easier and took the hassle out of stressful time, 4 weeks before the big day. Certainly will stick in my mind for parties and celebrations in the years to come, thank you.
