    My Mum's favourite beer has recently been discontinued (or changed beyond any recognition). I was keen to find some 'old stock' so I could surprise her for Mother's day; I found it on DrinksDirect.co.uk. They clearly marked on the product description that it was the last of the 'old stock' so I ordered a case. Not only that but I was able to easily have it delivered to a different address. It arrived to her within a few days and she was totally delighted: "Thoughtful but unnecessary until I opened it. Wow!!! Haven't stopped grinning since. Genuine article and not out of date until October 2016. So looking forward to enjoying it and maybe save a can for you?". Marvellous stuff, well done DrinksDirect.

    Have used DrinksDirect a number of times to send "a bottle" from my elderly mother in Australia to her brother in England. Easy to use, good selection, prompt delivery. Never had any problems.

    I was moaning to my son about how drinks trade are altering/reducing alcohol content of what used to be my regular purchase because of some irresponsible drinkers thus changing the taste. Much to my surprise and delight he located a supplier with old stock (but not out-of-date). Unknown to me he ordered a case which was delivered by a competent, friendly driver. Same day I ordered another case (just to be sure I had some stock) and delighted to report it has also been delivered.

    My only problem was getting my credit card authorised, took several attempts and several cards. That apart, very good, quick service.
