Es handelt sich um ein sehr schönes Hotel, direkt am Wad gelegen. Besonders ist das sehr freundliche Personal, immer mit einem persönlichen Touch.Keine fünf Sterne, da ich von einem Fünf-Sterne Haus eine Klimatisierung der Zimmer erwarte. Es ist aber auch trotz der sehr hohen Temperaturen aufgrund der Waldlage einigermaßen erträglich.

 · What we really like (and the reason we stay here whenever we're in the area visiting) is the charm of this hotel. It is set in a wooded area, off the main road and is near a walking path through the forest. Each room is slightly different, with varied angles to the walls, and lots of rustic pine. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are updated and elegant. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, though pricey. The location of the hotel is best for visitors with a car, who want to see more than just Hamburg. Mölln and Ratzeburg are nearby towns with lots of history.

 · Air conditioning is generally not a problem in northern Germany, but it was an extremely hot summer this year and we found it a little warm in the room at night, even with the windows open. We didn't think to ask for a fan until the last day.
